Approach: progression vs scorecard
T-Score asks about six habits each night (sleep, training, nutrition, morning sunlight, cold exposure and supplements), turns them into a 0 to 100 score, and after five check-ins shows which behaviors correlate with your highest scores. It is simple and fast.
THRIVE lets you pick from 40+ evidence-graded protocols, swipe to complete them, earn XP and rise through a Roman legion-inspired rank ladder. The streak counts a day at 80% completion, per the App Store listing. The approach leans on game mechanics, which we explain in how gamification makes health habits stick.
Feature comparison
- Where T-Score is stronger: lower listed price, a dedicated bloodwork log for total T, free T and SHBG, and a quick nightly routine.
- Where THRIVE is stronger: a deeper protocol library with step-by-step guidance, progression systems (XP and ranks), a forgiving streak rule, and more public ratings (25 vs 8).
- Where they are similar: both are iPhone-only, sync with Apple Health data, and are wellness tools rather than medical devices.
Pricing
T-Score lists Pro at $3.99 per month and $29.99 per year. THRIVE lists THRIVE Premium options between $9.99 and $35.99. If price is the deciding factor, T-Score is the lower listed option; compare the exact plan you would use on each listing.
Who should pick which
| Pick | If you... |
|---|---|
| T-Score | like a single daily number, want to log lab results, or want the lowest listed price |
| THRIVE | stay motivated by streaks, XP and ranks, and want a larger library of guided protocols |
Whichever you choose, remember that a score is not a measurement. To know your actual level, you need a blood test; see our guide to getting your testosterone tested.
